In his book, Organizations, People & Effective Communication, Richard J. Anthony, Sr. synthesizes a mixture of common sense principles and slightly esoteric theories to explain organizational dynamics and human behavior. Drawing on his 35 years of experience as a consultant and counselor to senior management, Anthony presents his book as:
- • A tool kit for managers interested in improving interpersonal communication skills.
- • A handbook complete with analogs and examples based on real life situations for students of organizational and leadership communication.
Each chapter reflects the insight gained from Anthony's extensive consulting experience with hundreds of clients in the U.S., Canada, and Europe. The reader will take away practical counsel on how to improve individual and group performance by applying proven principles and techniques. As an enjoyable read and a valuable reference, Organizations, People & Effective Communication will have the reader coming back for practical tips on dealing with organizations and the people in them.
Anthony has spent his career consulting with clients on human resource management and performance improvement issues. He is also a speaker, educator, television host and entrepreneur who has special interests in the Baby Boom phenomenon, the intergenerational workforce and expanding education about entrepreneurialism among all generations. He is the Founder and Managing Director of The Solutions Network, Inc., a full service consulting firm, and Founder of The Entrepreneurs Network, a venue for entrepreneurs and accredited angel investors. He was previously a Principal and National Practice Leader with Towers Perrin and CEO of US consulting operations for Alexander & Alexander (now AON).
